I can still use Dropsync to pull from the cloud directly to the internal memory card, if I can find an app that will sync from the internal memory to the SD. In the Title I used Dropsync because that is what I used on my ROOTED Note 2 to pull from the cloud directly to the SD card. for that I would have to manually move it. Dont get me wrong, I can still have dropsync pull, but only to internal card. Dropsync will automatically schedule and do it for me.but NOT direcly to the SD card unless its rooted. I can manually pull a file from dropbox and copy it to the SD card. can you still not have a rouge process or app running in memory. Everybody "says" security, but its not clear to me what the quote "security issue is". I agree with you, I'm not sure what the though process was for not allowing end users to Write and manage their data directly on an SD card. I then use Dropsync on the various device to "pull" data where needed. In this example I use Dropbox as a central storage to keep data. To provide a little more detail, I'm an IT consultant and I have several machines (laptop/servers) devices, phone/tablets, etc that I use. let me know what you think about it and if it's not wanted or possible, help me to understand your reasons, because it really costs my time and an effort because i have to re-do it after each manual sync which at times is necessary to get a file offline available immediately before leaving the office.Task: I picked up a Note 4 a week or so ago and I'm trying to regain write access to the SD Card. why? because if, and that makes totally sense for all people i talk to, the best time to sync is while asleep, in the middle of the night, bandwith at max, nobody uses the phone and it simply can quietly sync in the background and will always be ready and up to speed in the morning, if you agree to that, are you aware that if want to sync at let's say 04:00 AM that i have to stay up, means i have to be awake at a time when i want to sync because i'm usually asleep LOL, to set the schedule to 04:00 AM there is no way that i know off (hope i did not miss it, that would be embarrasing LOL ) to set the timer manually to 04:00 AM which is the case in any other app i use that need to be scheduled. Great app of course dev but one thing i simply miss and don't get it why it's not there after such a long time: it's times schedule as to when to sync.
